This demo assumes you have a domain name registered through and starts from their home page.

Domain name transfers must be initiated at the new registrars website, that is, the website for the registrar where you want your domain name transferred to.

However, you must first insure that your domain name is not being locked, or being prevented from transferring away from this registry.

Click on the CONTROL PANEL LOGIN LINK near the top center of the screen.

Enter your ACCOUNT USERNAME and PASSWORD in the box that opens up.

Click OK when done.

Scroll down. Select the domain you wish to transfer, then click MODIFY DOMAIN.

Scroll down.

Click the CHANGE IPS TAG link.

Scroll down.

For domain names, you must enter the IPS TAG of the new registrar you’re transferring to, before you’ll be able to transfer this domain.

You can obtain the IPS TAG from the registrar you’re transferring this domain name to.

Once the IPS TAG has been changed, you must then go to the website of the domain name registrar you wish to transfer to  and initiate a DOMAIN TRANSFER REQUEST.

When finished, click the LOG OUT LINK.
