This tutorial assumes you are already logged into cPanel.

Scroll down.

Click the DISC SPACE USAGE icon.

From the next screen you can see how much STORAGE SPACE is being used by each DIRECTORY and sub-directory in your account.

To see the full list of directories, scroll down.

You can opt to SHOW FILE SIZES AS BYTES by using the ACTIONS dropdown menu.

By clicking the INCREASE and DECREASE depth buttons, you can show more or less of the directory paths. The SHOW TOP LEVEL option, accessible from the dropdown menu, is equivalent to “Decrease depth.”

There are numerous ways to review the amount of storage space being used by your directories.  This information will help you determine which directories are using the most storage space.

Once you know where all your storage space is being used, you can decide if you need to delete some files or upgrade to a larger hosting plan.
