This tutorial assumes you have already logged into WHM.

Click on the LIMIT BANDWIDTH USAGE LINK.

A hosting accounts bandwidth limit cannot be exceeded. When it’s reached, the account will stop working until either 1) THE END OF THE MONTH, when bandwidth usages are reset, or 2) THE BANDWIDTH LIMIT IS INCREASED.

Every account in WHM already has a bandwidth limit as it would have been set up when the account was created.

To check the bandwidth limit on a hosted account, select the account from the ACCOUNT SELECTION SCREEN.

Scroll down.

Click the LIMIT button.

You can now see the accounts limit information including used bandwidth and the account limit. To edit the account limit (increase or decrease) simply CHANGE THE NUMBER IN THE BANDWIDTH LIMIT BOX by typing in another value, and click the CHANGE button.

That’s it! The bandwidth limit for the account has been changed.

Next, click the VIEW BANDWIDTH USAGE link.

From this screen, you can see the bandwidth used by each individual account in WHM. Last months figures are also accessible. You can click the SHOW UNITS IN MEGABYTES button to change the way units are displayed.

You now know how to manage the bandwidth limits for your hosting accounts and how to check the current and past bandwidth usages.
