There are lots of tools available on the Internet to do any task These tools help web developers to speed up their development process. They help in a way that a web developer may only give all his attention to design and code strategy and forget the rest of things.

I have compiled a list of 12 great Tools for Web Developers and Designer. These tools covers Invoicing, project management, screen sharing, mocking up design layouts, instant messaging and other things. I hope you must give them a try as i am using them from years and they are more then just helpful for me.

1. Skype:

I just love this tool and highly recommend to every developer to use it. Skype is a great tool to use across multi platforms like Mac, Windows and Linux. This is a really perfect application for teamwork as you can instantly initiate communication, screen sharing and messaging. You can start sharing your documents and communicated with your team in seconds. You can call your team member,employers and can do much more its just awesome.

2.Dropbox:

Dropbox is the best utility for online sharing. Use Dropbox for sharing and storing files between your team members and other computers.

3.W3C Validator:

This validator checks the markup validity of Web documents in HTML, XHTML, SMIL, MathML, etc. If you wish to validate specific content such as RSS/Atom feeds or CSS stylesheets, MobileOK content, or to find broken links, there are other validators and tools available.

4.Toggl:

Toggl is a timesheet killer and a way to increase income by not leaving hours on the table. If you haven’t tracked it, you can’t bill it. Toggl is popular with freelancers, groups, and small companies. It’s internet-based and can be up and running from scratch in less than a minute. 6.Net2Ftp:

It is a web based ftp client having basic functionality of ftp client.Web-based means that net2ftp runs on a web server, and that you use a browser (for example Internet Explorer or Mozilla). FTP is the communication method to access files on a remote computer. You need it to access your files on the account given by your provider to host your homepage. FTP is different from HTTP in that it was made specially to transfer (big) files.

7.Favigen:
