Image gallery is basically designed to show images on your websites and  galleries is now becomes a part of  almost every website.  Thanks to the internet that we don,t have to develop them from scratch there are a lot of free resources out there for image galleries we just have to customize them according to our needs.

In this article i have compiled a list of 5 free java script and 5 free flash galleries  i hope you will like them.

JavaScript Galleries:

1.E2 Photo Gallery:

E2 Photo Gallery is a open source gallery built with Mootools JavaScript Library the compact, modular, Object-Oriented java script framework.  Designed to allow you to upload your photos to a desired folder, tell the (E)2 Photo Gallery what folder to look at and it will automatically load the images using PHP.

2.FrogJS:

FrogJS is a simple, unobtrusive JavaScript gallery. It’s not a replacement for other thumbnail galleries like Lightbox JS, but a different way of showcasing galleries. This type of gallery is best used when a page-by-page gallery is needed, as is the case with photo stories.

3.Highslide JS:

Highslide JS is an image, media and gallery viewer written in JavaScript. These are some of its advantages:

4.Imago:

Imago is an Ajax Image Gallery which will show your pictures the way you want. Whether your photos are on flickr, smugmug or on your own site, Imago does show them. No flash, no server side scripting, just plain JavaScript and CSS to show your pictures. What a fancier presentation then my default theme, no problem, you can customize Imago via CSS.

5.Pyxy-gallery:

Pyxy-gallery is an AJAX image gallery in PHP and JavaScript, which optionally uses lightbox.js. It is designed to be an ultra-light-weight, “drop-in” image gallery.

A simple flash-animated photo browsing script. Simple but fun.

7.Polaroid:

Polaroid Gallery is a free, open source flash gallery developed by , Christopher Einarsrud, in the year of 2006. The script loads images and image titles dynamically from an external xml file or a flickr RSS feed. Then the script processes the data and creates an interactive flash gallery.

8.SimpleViewer:

9.TiltViewer:
