It’s no big secret that Microsoft Internet Explorer is the browser of choice, but Google is trying to wrestle control away from them by launching their own browser, called Chrome. It’s going to be a great browser someday and will make web surfing easier than it is now. However, the current beta version still has some rough edges.

One of the biggest benefits to the browser is that it’s fast. The features work the way that they’re supposed to, which is also a large plus. There are some people who have experienced trouble with YouTube videos, but not everyone has had this problem, so it’s too early to say if it’s really an inherent flaw with Chrome.

Overall, Chrome is faster than IE and it’s better because it doesn’t have as many frills. The only downside is there aren’t as many add-ons available. It’s early yet, though, and there will undoubtedly be more very soon.
